Fight Against COVID-19: Launch of LG Ambassador Program 2020

For our client, LG Bangladesh, we arranged a PR Event to launch their social initiative called LG Ambassador Program 2020 which was covered by all notable newspapers.

On the 31st of May, the initiative was inaugurated by top officials at its local office in Gulshan. Since 2017, LG has been organizing this program throughout the country. For this year’s program, on 27th of April, followers of LG Bangladesh’s official Facebook page were invited to submit their social development plans with emphasis on those projects which will stand by to help the helpless people in the current COVID-19 situation. Out of all the applications, Nazrul Islam of South Relibagan in Narayanganj district has been selected as the first winner of LG Ambassador Program 2020 and has been awarded BDT. 4,40,000 to implement his social project which will ensure food safety of 174 poverty-stricken families. Under this project, each family will be provided 25 kg of Rice, 5 kg of Pulses, 5 litres of Oil, 2 kg of Flour, 2 kg of Potatoes, 1 kg of Salt and 2 pieces of hand-soap.
